Miranda Kipshidze Appointed as Assistant of President in Broadway Theater

Miranda Kipshidze started working in the Broadway theater. She leads a team of 10 people in theater management.

As Miranda told bm.ge, she has been holding the position of assistant to the president of the theater for a few days and is responsible for negotiating contracts with actors, composers, and screenwriters.

"The Broadway theater, as we all know, is the most famous theater in New York with its history. That is why, of course, being in the management of this theater is a great challenge for me. I will be responsible for licenses, which are owned by, for example, Stephen King, The Beatles, Arthur Miller, etc.'' says Miranda Kipshidze.

She has come a long way to Broadway. The USA is the fourth country where she decided to live and study. Currently, Miranda is also taking Harvard online courses in management and business.

"Due to the pandemic, I decided to move to the states. My mother lives here and I have been living here for a year. I started working at a marketing company two weeks after my arrival, but at the same time I was looking for a job that would be very interesting to me, along with Broadway interviews, I had interviews with the marketing team of the NBA and New York MoMA, but Broadway attracted me the most,'' says Kipshidze.

As for her past experience, Miranda completed her undergraduate program in Turkey, namely at Hacettepe University in Ankara. She lived in Paris for five years for her master's degree. "I have two MBA diplomas in Fashion and luxury management, as well as a master's degree in International Luxury Marketing. After graduating from university, I started working in Paris in the Dior press office. While working there, I had direct contact with Vogue, Vanity Fair, and all the publishing houses around the world. Also, it was an amazing experience to work with such stars as, for example, Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Miranda Kerr, Gisele, and others. I have used these contacts in many interesting cases to date," notes Miranda.

Speaking about future plans, Miranda says that she may return to Georgia if she is given the opportunity to realize herself here.
