LE Figaro Publishes Article about Self-Educated Magician – Niko Pirosmani

The Le Figaro has published an article about Nikoloz Pirosmanashvili: “Niko Pirosmani: Georgia in All Colors”. The article author writes that Niko Pirosmani’s works are exposed at Van Gogh museum in Arles, France and calls the Georgian artist as a self-educated magician.

The exhibition of Niko Pirosmani’s works at Vincent Van Gogh museum in the city of Arles opened on Mach 1, 2019. A total of 29 works by Niko Pirosmani have been exhibited, including such masterpieces as The Mountain of Arsenal at Night, Giraffe, Vintage and the Girl with Balloons.

This is the first case, when the works by Vincent Van Gogh and Niko Pirosmani are exposed in the same space.

The exhibition will last till June 1.
