Giorgi Danibegashvili is a Finalist of the European Art Prize

Georgian artist Giorgi Danibegashvili became a finalist of a prestigious art prize among hundreds of artists around the world.

The complex competition for the European Prize for Applied Arts consisted of several stages and involved more than six hundred artists from around the world, with 54 artists in the final.

The works selected for the competition have a high standard in terms of technology, aesthetics and innovation.

An international jury selected three works by Danibegashvili. An exhibition of the finalists' work will take place in December at the Grande Halle du Site des Anciens Abattoirs de Mons in Mons, Belgium. Objects from the series "Gardens of the World" will be presented at the show.

Founded in 2009 with the support of the WCC-Europe Monsieur Wallonia-Brussels Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Culture, The European Prize for Applied Arts aims to reward the best creators working in the field of handmade contemporary applied arts.
