Georgian Films on Cottbus Film Festival

The Cottbus Film Festival is considered the most important Eastern European film festival in the world. It will open on November 2 and will continue until 7th.

Levan Koghuashvili's film "Brighton 4th" is presented in the section: feature film competition. 

"Tbilisi - Brooklyn, One Way, in this tragic-comic winner of the New York Tribeca Festival about former wrestling champion Khakchi, who travels from Georgia to New York to help a son who has ended up in trouble with the mafia. To a backdrop of the urban canyons of Brighton Beach, the film tells a tale of the struggle for life and death in a manner both visually powerful and rich in fascinating ensemble scenes."

It is also worth mentioning that another Georgian film, Luka Beradze's short film "Sorry for Being Late" will be screened at the festival within the section: short film competition.
