Aiisa won the dispute against Georgia in the Strasbourg court.
The decision violated Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights, which deals with freedom of expression.
"The Court reiterates that freedom of expression is an important foundation of a democratic society and is one of the basic conditions for its development and self-realization," the ruling said.
In addition, Articles 50 and 59 of the Decision state that the ban on the design of condom packaging was not subject to the limitations of Article 10 -2 2 of the European Convention, as it would not endanger public needs.
The European Court of Human Rights directly responds to Levan Museridze's decision:
"The court does not agree with the decision of the Georgian court that the views of the members of the Georgian Orthodox Church on ethics take precedence over the various values enshrined in the Convention and the Constitution of Georgia.
"The court reiterates that in a pluralistic democratic society, those who enjoy freedom of religion must accept and accept the right of others to criticize or be hostile to their faith."
In May 2018, the Tbilisi City Court fined the condom company Aisa 500 GEL and banned the use of some packaging and advertising in the future.
According to the judge, the image of the condom on the packaging of the condom on two fingers, as well as Queen Tamar, violated the morale and dignity of the society. With this decision, Lasha Tavartkiladze upheld the statement of the Tbilisi City Hall and declared Anania Gachechiladze an offender under Article 159 of the Administrative Code (violation of the rules for ordering, production and distribution of advertisements and ordering and placing signs). Later, Judge of the Court of Appeal Levan Murusidze upheld the decision of the City Court
