Georgian Airways to be Part of China's New Silk Road Development Project

Georgian Airways will participate in the development project of China's new silk road. Currently, the company examines the project together with China's side.

"The special fund of China Government, which works on transportation of ground, nautical and air activities, has offered us to be a member of this project. The main asset and superiority of Georgia is its geopolitical location and we have a unique possibility, to be a part of international transportation hub - to connect Asia and Middle East Europe and for Georgia - to be the main gate." Roman Bokeria declares.

"There interest is strengthened with the reason, that Georgian Airways is national carrying company and we can transport these loads in the defined directions. There might be additional destinations: China, India, etc."
