Georgian Airways Cargo Launches First Flight on April 25
Georgian cargo air company, Georgian Airways Cargo prepares for the first Tbilisi-Ürümqi-Tbilisi flight, which will be launched on April 25th cooperating with the company "Logos".
Within the frameworks of the collaboration of Georgian Airways Cargo and the company "Logos", the air company has already scheduled several charter flights in advance.
Prior to that, however, the certification process for the airline’s first aircraft was completed. As the head of the airline Irakli Mezvrishvili told AviaNews, the regulator has already certified the registration, suitability and noise of the Boeing B737-800 and the cargo plane is ready to start operating the 4L-TIG flight number.

Boeing B737-800 has been parked for several weeks now in Tbilisi International Airport.
The aircraft was launching flights within Europe. However, for cargo shipments, the Boeing-accredited plant was converted from a passenger to a cargo ship.
Several Georgian cargo airlines operate in the country including Geo Sky, TCA, and Easy Charter, and from now on Georgian Airways Cargo will be added to them.
