Georgian Agencies Win 3 Awards at BalticBest 2021

 

Georgian creative agencies have won 3 awards at the international festival BalticBest 2021. Namely, Windfor’s Tbilisi and JWT Metro have won two silver and 1 bronze awards.

At the 2021 festival, Windfor’s Tbilisi won the first award in the nomination of DESIGN & CRAFT PRINT/OUTDOOR CRAFT for its work Father’s Day. The agency has created this poster for the McDonald’s campaign.
 
The 19th of June is marked as the Day of Fathers and this poster describes the warmth between fathers and children as part of the McDonald’s brand identity.
 
JWT Metro has won two awards for the campaign of Superheroes:
1. Silver Medal in the category of DESIGN & CRAFT FILM CRAFT – the campaign of Superheroes (Bank of Georgia).
2. Bronze Medal in the category of DVERTISING/BRANDING ONLINE VIDEO & FILM – the campaign of Superheroes (Bank of Georgia).
 
BalticBest is an annual creative festival for small countries. All works are evaluated by an international jury that consists of representatives of the creative industry. This year, the winners were named in Tallinn, Estonia, but the ceremony was held in digital format amid the pandemic.
 
In the so-called 2021 short list of BlaticBest, 3 other Georgian works were represented in various categories.
 
• Agency Redberry – the campaign of Georgia by Post (Post of Georgia)
• Agency JWT Metro – the campaign of THE START (Team Georgia)
• Agency 4Media – the campaign of There is a Gift for you! (National Bank of Georgia)
Notably, JWT Metro creative director Eka Kipiani was one of the members of the festival jury.
