Football Stadium to Open in Batumi

In October of 2020, a new football stadium will be officially opened in Batumi. As a director of LTD Stadium, Jaba Surmanidze states, a facade of the stadium building is constructed of the concept of Georgian national dance "Khorumi". Face-lifting of an exterior side of the building is nearly finished and is built by IV category Standards of UEFA.

The price of the football stadium is 99 448 408  Lari. As Jaba Surmanidze declares, constructing the building meets the demands of IV category standards.

"The fencing of the stadium will be covered with natural grass since its caring is the obligation of LTD "Anagi". The lighting and sound system has the highest quality. In 2016, new regulation of lighting system came into action. Therefore, frequency of the lighting will be 1500 lux, which is better than the planned lighting, since it has more brightness and does not create shadows. Hence, this system has important superiorities."

The football stadium will host 20 000 viewers, where 150 places will be intended for VIP Zone. As Jaba Surmanidze noted, the stadium is not considered only for sports infrastructure.

"Generally, Stadium will serve Batumi Dinamo games, but we also have planned to hold the games of Georgian teams. It is also worth mentioning, that the Stadium might also be appropriate for music concerts. For holding the concerts, we are buying special 50cm layers to not damage the fence. On the outside territory of the Stadium, the parking will be set up, which will serve 1200 cars. For persons with disabilities, it is also envisaged to bring up the separate parking space and tribune."
