Austrian Minister of Health: Georgia Manages to Control the Virus Well
Georgian Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze held an online meeting with the Austrian counterpart Rudolf Anschober, – the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.
According to the ministry, the parties discussed the challenges in connection to COVID-19 and shared their experiences.
The Austrian Minister stressed that Georgia and Austria have similar approaches in terms of Coronavirus management.
“I would like to emphasize that Georgia and Austria have very similar approaches to managing coronavirus. In Austria now, the restrictions are gradually lifted, as I received information from your Minister that the same processes are taking place in Georgia. We are overcoming the crisis and gradually and very carefully resuming school studies, opening restaurants and hotels. As I see it, Georgia is well able to control the virus, your country has been able to stabilize the virus contagion curve. As for the tests, like Georgia, we prefer PCR testing, we will start antibody testing soon. I am glad that today we had the opportunity to exchange information. ” – Rudolf Anschober stated.
