Zviad Tsikolia Adds Inscription of “Georgia” onto His Wristwatches – We Want to Set an Example to Others

“Georgia” – a new inscription has been added to the logo of Tsikolia. Zviad Tsikolia, the founder of the Georgian brand of wristwatches, told BM.GE that the new element of the logo will popularize Georgia.

“Through this inscription, our brand stresses makes an accent on its origin. We want to remove the stereotype as if a Georgian product is a low-quality product. We also want to make this case as an example for other Georgian brands. French, American, English, and Italian companies indicate the cities of manufacturing on their products, and in this way, they popularize their cities. And why should we not add our cities to our products? The more companies do the same, the better for our country”, Zviad Tsikolia noted.

Zviad Tsikolia has also talked about the pandemic’ effect and noted that the pandemic has both negative and positive aspects.

‘As for negative effects, stability has disappeared, partner companies suffer the serious economic slowdown, and this tendency affects us too. At this stage, we use only one-fourth part of our working capacity, and the future also seems unclear. As for positive aspects, we started developing a new business model. We have activated online sales, and we offer online services to customers. We have also launched many interesting models,”, Tsikolia noted.

It is untimely to talk about recovery because there is full uncertainty both in Georgia and other countries, where Tsikolia branded watches are sold.

We remind you that Tsikolia products are sold in the USA, Poland, and Britain.

“Regretfully, limited production does not enable to penetrate more countries, while online format enables to cover the whole world,” Zviad Tsikolia noted.
