ZarquaCollection: We Sell Greater Part of Our Products to China and USA
Despite the pandemic, Georgian designer Nina Zarqua continues her successful business activities. As ZarquaCollection founder Nina Zarqua told the Business Partner TV Program, the greater part of her products is sold in China and the USA.
“Our products are primarily focused on high price segments and foreign customers. Despite the pandemic, the highest demand was recorded in China and the USA. We used to receive preliminary orders in the usual regime. I can say that COVID-19 has not affected our sales. After lifting regulations, orders came from Georgian customers too”, Nina Zarqua noted.
ZarquaCollection’s footwear is sold in Asian countries, the USA, France, Australia, and England.
“We primarily sell our products from Instagram. We cooperate with Buyers, who have their own online platforms, where our products have been placed. We make focus on social space and our content provides detailed information and full visual perception. Supposedly, this is a key factor, why COVID-19 could not affect our business. We want to make an official website because the virus has outlined the necessity of online sales and its development”, Nina Zarqua noted.
As for future plans, the company does not plan to open a new store. At this stage, ZarquaCollection owns only one showroom in Tbilisi.
“Our products are sold beside the world’s distinguished brands and this is much success. We had plans to open stores in London and Australia, where we had already bought a collection, but the pandemic thwarted our plans”, Zarqua noted.
