YTONG's Energy Efficient Block Factory Opens in Tbilisi
Within the frameworks of "Enterprise Georgia", YTONG's energy-efficient block factory will be opened in Tbilisi.
Archi started the project in 2015 with a German partner - the Xela Group, Partnership Fund, and TBC. In 2019, BK Construction joined the project.
The total amount of investment is 55 million GEL.
It is planned to produce 30 million GEL annually and hire up to 200 employees on-site. The factory will completely replace the import and export of YTONG products in the near future.
"This project unites two important fields for us - the replacement of imports of construction materials and the implementation of energy-efficient projects. We are glad that with the participation of TBC, the German standard and quality enters the Georgian market and such an innovative product will be created, the production of which will consume entirely Georgian materials and minerals extracted in Georgia.", noted Giorgi Tkhelidze, the Deputy CEO of TBC.
