Wine Company "Nekresi" Postpones Development of Chateau

Wine producing company, Nekresi postponed the development plan of the chateau. As Oto Tabatadze mentioned with BusinessPartner, the reason for this is the pandemic.

According to Oto Tabatadze, an 8-room hotel and restaurant are already built on-site. Perhaps, they could not open them because of the pandemic.

The wine factory located in Kvareli produces 7 varieties of wines currently, including Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Mukuzani, Akhasheni Saperavi, and Khashmi Saperavi. The company receives production from locals.

Currently, Nekresi exports production to Korea. At the beginning of December, it plans to export approximately 5,000 bottles of wines. As Oto Tabatadze noted, the company exported the products to America, China, Israel, and Ukraine before the pandemic.
