“We Are Pleased with the Progress Achieved Together in Georgia” – Yara Representatives Visit Agrosphere
Representatives from Yara, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of innovative fertilizers, recently visited Georgia. Business Development Manager for Europe, Remko Bros, and Manager for the Caucasus and Central Asia, Vadim Levkovsky, engaged with their long-time partner company, Agrosphere, to discuss deepening cooperation and unveiled a new product line soon to debut in the Georgian market.
19 Years of Partnership with Agrosphere
“Yara has been partnering with Agrosphere for 19 years, and throughout this time, our relationship has grown significantly,” said Vadim Levkovsky. “We are very pleased with the progress we’ve achieved together in Georgia, and this is just the beginning. We have many exciting plans ahead.”
During their visit, Yara representatives held a seminar for Agrosphere employees. The primary focus was on introducing Yara’s new biostimulant product line, YaraAmplix, which is expected to offer valuable support to Georgian farmers. “Periodic meetings like these strengthen our cooperation and are an excellent way to share knowledge and expertise,” Levkovsky added.
Yara: A Global Leader in Fertilizer Production
Remko Bros emphasized Yara’s commitment to producing high-quality, efficient products that support sustainable agriculture. “The key to creating outstanding fertilizers lies in using the right and safe raw materials, a process we prioritize,” he said. “The quality of Yara’s products is reflected in the ISO certifications we’ve earned.”
Innovation and Advanced Technology
Yara’s production is rooted in cutting-edge technologies, which Bros highlighted as essential for ensuring product excellence. “We are currently building a new factory for our YaraVita line, set to be operational by the end of 2025. This facility will double our production capacity and be one of the most modern factories in the world,” he noted.
The Role of Yara’s Analytical Laboratory
Yara’s laboratory plays a critical role in soil and leaf analysis, helping farmers optimize agricultural practices. “By analyzing soil and plant needs, we can recommend fertilizers that ensure high-quality yields while reducing costs,” Levkovsky explained.
Bros added, “Through Agrosphere, Georgian farmers can access Yara’s laboratory services. This benefits both consumers and us, as studying Georgian soil enables us to tailor products that meet local agricultural challenges.”
Looking Ahead
Yara’s collaboration with Agrosphere continues to set new benchmarks for supporting Georgian farmers. With the introduction of advanced products and technologies, Yara is committed to fostering sustainable agricultural development in Georgia, further solidifying its long-standing partnership with Agrosphere.
