Three New Hotels to Open in Mestia
Three new hotels will open in Mestia with a 10 million GEL investment. The hotel "Gistola" will be a premium-class 4-star hotel, the second one is "La Hill" - which will be a boutique, loft-style hotel with 25 rooms. The third one, Mestia Inn will be located in the center of Mestia.
"At the end of April, hotels will be ready to open. They are presented with 100 rooms in total. It was always difficult to find a good place for the facilities in Mestia. There are many family hotels in Mestia. However, the well-ordered service with its restaurant staff and classified stars who fully comply with European standards is not yet present in this case. In the mountainous regions, such hotels are rare, though necessary.
Mestia always has both Georgian and foreign visitors. We can not have the expectations we would have in 2019. However, as soon as we announced this news, a travel company called us and asked for places, including foreign partners. There was a lot of activity from Georgian customers too.", noted the manager of hotels, Maia Murachashvili.
