The Second Intense Phase of 500 Startups Acceleration Begins

The world's leading business accelerator, 500 Startups continues its acceleration program.

The company entered Georgia with the partnership of Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) and Bank of Georgia. The second, 6-week intensive phase of acceleration has already started and will continue till March 12nd. Activechat, Agrolabs, B2C.GE, Corebook, Kernel, Kvalifika, My Nanny, PAYZE, Simpolium, YouTravel.me - these are in the list of startups, which will continue to refine their ideas with the mentors.

Supported by the Bank of Georgia, 5 startups, Payze, Agrolabs, Youtravel.me, Kvalifika, Corebook will receive additional investment. Two of them will win a trip to Silicon Valley to participate in the immersion program.

It is also worth mentioning, that together with these 5 companies, additional 5 members, Activechat, B2C.GE, Kernel, My Nanny, Simpolium will have an opportunity to appear in front of Demo Day investors. 

The project 500 Startups is implemented in the region with the name 500 Georgia. Among the startups involved in the program, four companies are from Latvia, Ukraine, and Estonia. 

For the record, 500 Startups chose 14 startups from 140 applications from around the world. From November 2020 to January 2021, selected companies participated in the programs of Foundations Bootcamp and Remote Experimentation. During 2,5 months, 500 Startups estimated the market potential of the company, growth rates, and team involvement in the program. Most of the companies showed remarkable progress, however, 10 startups from 14 moved to the next stage.
