Termitti Opens a Leather Manufacturing Plant

Manufacturer of leather accessories Termitti recently opened a leather manufacturing plant. It is located on 1 hectare in Orkheviand about $200,000 has been invested in it.

According to the founder of the company Mikheil Berdzenishvili, the factory produces leather only for its own consumption at this stage. By the end of the year, the company plans to supply it to the local market and export it as well.

5 types of leather are being manufactured in the enterprise of Termitti, and the plant processes about 5 tons of leather per month. The company buys raw materials (leather of cattle) from local farmers.

Termitti makes men's and women's leather bags, wallets, belts, children's shoes and other accessories, including saddles. The products are sold in the company's brand store. The company is represented by 3 stores throughout Tbilisi.

As for exports, Termitti sells products in the US through the trading platform Amazon.com. The production is also exported to France.
