Tech Park to Open in Kaspi
The tech park was opened in Kaspi by Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. The project was financially assisted by the World Bank.
Tech Park is a space, which unites technological, educational, and professional resources and presents the platform of innovations and technologies which aim at developing business. Tech Park promotes creating innovational, technology-based products, which will be competitive in both local and international markets.
The purpose of opening Tech Park in Kaspi is to help locals, representatives of the private sector and municipality, to use technologies to achieve their goals. It is important, to engage local youth and increase their knowledge of how to create a startup, what steps should they take in order to develop their business, and achieve success.
The Tech Park presents FabLab, with modern equipment, including a high-performance 3D printer, laser cutter, program machine, CNC machine, card printing router, 3D scanner, etc.
Also, the Tech Park combines an educational center, co-working space for startups and freelancers, conference hall, and other services, which will create a united eco-system for innovations and technologies.
The above-mentioned infrastructure will promote building an economy in the country, which will be based on the knowledge and will make a contribution in creating a highly paid workforce and attracting investment in the country.
