Tbilisi has New Shopping Center - City Mall Saburtalo Opened
Brand new shopping and entertainment centre opened in the Saburtalo district.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze emphazed how such projects are of the utmost importance for the economic development of the country and the creation of new jobs.
The City Mall Saburtalo has been supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
“The project of the trade and entertainment center was funded by the Georgian investment with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. It is also important that 3500 new jobs have been created here,” – the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development said in her opening remarks.
The modern, energy efficient shopping mall is located on 120,000 sqm. and offers a two-level parking lot for 1,500 cars.
With 210 million GEL (about $71 mln/€64 mln) in investments and 3,500 employees, City Mall Saburtalo unites over 200 shops, cafes, restaurants, bowling centres and the country’s largest cinema.
