Sweeft Digital Funds the Hackathon Winning Teams to Implement their Ideas

Sweeft Digital, a Georgian international software development company, was founded in 2017 and has been actively working on staff development since then. The organization held the first internal hackathon of the "Swiftels" to instill a culture of innovation into the work process. The project's goal is to get people out of their routines and encourage them to think creatively.

Hackathon participants had the opportunity to create an innovative product or service, develop a prototype and present it to a competent jury. The event was held at the Technopark, 12 teams of 3-5 people and about 50 "Swiftels" took part. The presented innovative solutions were evaluated by a specially invited jury:

  • Vako Turnava - CEO, Sweeft Digital;
  • Giorgi Menabdishvili - CDO, Sweeft Digital;
  • Avtandil Kasradze - Chairman, GITA;
  • Levan Kobakhidze - CDO, Bank of Georgia;
  • Pavle Mgeladze - Founder of re:invent, Enterpreneur.

After 5 minutes of presentations by the participants, it was planned to reveal 3 winners, however, based on the interesting ideas presented, the jury selected 4 teams in the following nominations:

  • The most innovative product - QA Guild;
    Best Business Model - Interns Space;
    Jury Favorites - Poem AI and Sit & Sew.

"It is important for us to motivate the Swiftels and support their ideas. That's why the internal hackathon winners will be funded by Sweeft for the implementation of the ideas. In the near future, we will be able to present successful Swiftel projects to the local market, ”said Vako Turnava, the founder of Sweeft Digital.
