Swarowski Sales Halved in Georgia
Sales of Swarowski, the jewelry company are halved in Georgia.
The brand manager of the company, Nino Prangulaishvili mentioned with BusinessPartner, that business is in a difficult situation and the loss is huge in the month of December since the highest sales rate is in this period.
"We missed two important months this year, which caused us a 50% decrease in sales. The pandemic changed our plans. We thought about expanding the brand and adding the store in one of the malls, but this time, we decided to preserve the ones that already existed. We try our best, however, everything depends on how long will be restrictions imposed.
We had our online platform before the pandemic, but customers preferred to come on-site. During the first lockdown, our FB page became pretty active, consultants try to offer the same service to customers online, as on-site.", noted Nino Prangulaishvili.
Swarowski has been operating in Georgia for already 10 years and has two stores in Tbilisi.
