Spanish company Aqualia starts investing in Georgia.
Aqualia buys a 65% stake in the child company of Georgia Capital, Georgia Global Utilities, and invests in the country's water supply system.
Levan Davitashvili, the Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture met with the CEO of the Spanish company, Félix Parra Mediavilla. They discussed the matters of a large amount of invesment in the region.
"An attractive investment business environment in Georgia is confirmed by the fact that such a strategic investment is made in the water supply sector. In the process of integration with Europe, it is important that our country's commitments on water management are fulfilled in accordance with European directives. Sharing European experience is important for sustainable management of water resources.", noted said Levan Davitashvili.
