Small and Medium Entrepreneurs Strengthen Connections at B2B Forum in Tbilisi
A B2B forum for small and medium entrepreneurs was recently held in Tbilisi, with the aim of supporting and encouraging business growth in Georgia. Organized with the joint support of the Bank of Georgia, USAID's Economic Security Program, Gepra, and Kudos Georgia, the event saw 60 entrepreneurs and customer companies from various sectors come together to establish new connections and strengthen existing ones for future cooperation.
The forum was opened by representatives of the Bank of Georgia and USAID Economic Security Program, and addresses were given by Jepra senior consultant Kakha Maghradze and Kudos Georgia co-founder Aleksandre Margishvili. The event featured individual meetings between producers and buyers, providing the opportunity to share experiences, discuss important issues, and establish new business contacts.
"The Bank of Georgia is committed to supporting small and medium entrepreneurship and finding reliable partners for business clients to achieve mutual benefits. We aspire to encourage the business sector and provide opportunities to improve their potential every day and gain even more knowledge and experience," said Zurab Masurashvili, Deputy Director General of the Bank of Georgia's Small and Medium Business Division.
USAID's senior advisor for private sector development in Georgia, David Tsiklauri, explained that the forum was designed to provide more opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses to communicate their products or services, establish new relations of business cooperation, and meet potential buyers. "The business forum is just such an opportunity, within the framework of which entrepreneurs can strengthen ties for future cooperation," he added.
Gepra's senior consultant, Kakha Maghradze, emphasized the importance of direct communication for establishing partnership relations, while Kudos Georgia co-founder, Aleksandre Margishvili, noted that personal contacts are crucial for business development, and such forums help entrepreneurs better establish partnership relations with large corporations.
Overall, the B2B forum was a successful event that provided a valuable platform for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in Georgia to network, build relationships, and explore new business opportunities.
