Signify Introduces Electronic Document Signing Service in Georgia
In a few years, a large part of the documents will be signed and digitized electronically in Georgia - this is the expectation of the company Signify, which is developing a service to change the contracting process and transfer it from paper to digital space.
The company's representatives say that the electronic document signing service was officially activated in Georgia a year and a half ago, and today, representatives of various industries use this service more and more.
Signify is trying to increase the awareness of the electronic document signature service in the local market.
"The pandemic has accelerated the development of this field, and today, electronic signatures are becoming more and more active in the world market. Georgia is also trying to follow this trend, although it is still signed either on papers or on paper alternatives. Therefore, our vision is to change the contracting process in Georgia and make it easier for businesses. When we started this business, within 2 weeks we made sure that we were doing the right thing at the right time. Immediately there was interest from different categories of companies. "After a year and a half, we already have about 200 companies that use our service every day," Zviad Tsotskolauri told "Business Partner". According to his information, Signify does not yet have a competitor in the Georgian market, however, its competitors are large-scale, global companies that are available in any country.
Aleksandre Chkheidze, the head of corporate sales of Signify, talks about the current trends in the international markets and explains that most of the documents are already signed electronically in the American and European markets.
"Every company that is active has documents. Accordingly, when they learn that they can make the signing process easier, which will save them time, human resources, and, most importantly, additional costs, they will be more likely to turn to us with the initiative of cooperation," said Aleksandre Chkheidze.
For reference, Signify Pad allows users to digitize documents and their signature process across offices and branches. The biometrically signed document is subject to examination by the National Examination Bureau of Samkharauli. Signify covers all services and components required for process digitization on a one-stop basis.
