Scooter Sharing Service SCROLL Plans to Expand

Scooter Sharing Service Scroll plans to expand.

As the company's business development director told Business Partner, there are currently about 2,500 scrolls across the country, and that number is constantly increasing.

The company currently operates in Tbilisi, Batumi, and already in Rustavi. Due to the increased demand, which is reflected in the daily increase in the number of registrations in the application, Scroll plans to expand the area in the future and offer services not only for large cities throughout Georgia but also abroad.

"We cover all the main territories in Tbilisi, Batumi, and Rustavi. After the Rustavi, there will be all the big cities - Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Telavi, etc. These will be all the big cities where the infrastructure will help us to implement a similar project, ”said Daniel Doinitsin, Business Development Director at Scroll.

The main challenge in the company is the lack of adequate infrastructure for alternative vehicles. According to Daniel Doinitsin, although there are bicycle lanes in Tbilisi, Rustavi, and Batumi, it is not enough and it is necessary to add bicycle lanes in all cities, in addition to the need to upgrade the existing infrastructure.

According to the movement of electric scooters throughout Tbilisi, the company names Chachavadze, Vazha-Pshavela, and Tsereteli avenues as the most demanded territories. As for the age group of Scroll customers, according to Daniel Doinitsin, the company's electric scooters are mainly used by people aged 18 to 49 years. At the same time, 85-90% of consumers use scroll scooters for business purposes to get from A to B.

As for the offers, the company cooperates with Space and TBC Bank and offers customers 30-50% cashback. In addition, Scroll also offered a new service to customers - group riding.
