Sandro Margvelashvili Appointed as Light Film International's Georgian Representative

The start of the new year marks a significant milestone for Georgia's film industry, with the Emmy-awarded company Light Film International (LFI) expanding its global footprint to Georgia.

Sandro Margvelashvili, returning from his time abroad, has been appointed as LFI's representative in the country. LFI, known for its prestigious clientele including Disney, Coca-Cola, and National Geographic, brings a new era of film opportunities to Georgia.

Sandro Margvelashvili shares the journey leading to the inception of Film in Georgia:

"After relocating to Croatia with my family in August, we embraced the challenge of starting anew in a foreign land. Working on various projects together with my wife, we soon connected with Emmy-winning producer Hrvoe from LFI. Our discussions often revolved around Georgia's untapped potential in the film industry, which intrigued the LFI team."

This interaction eventually led LFI to propose creating video content under the banner 'Film in Georgia,' thereby integrating Georgia into their international production offerings. This move is set to enhance the presence of Georgian directors and actors in the global market, and Margvelashvili expresses his excitement about the opportunities this collaboration opens for Georgian production.

LFI, founded in 2001 by Igor Miolevicka and Hrvoje Boliovac, specializes in comprehensive production services spanning all stages of film creation. Hrvoe Boliovac, in his statement to the marketer, emphasized the strategic importance of entering the Georgian market:
