Sales of Phubber App Increased by 60% in March and April

In the first week of the lifting of restrictions, TBC's payments showed a 37% increase in card payments compared to the previous year.

According to statistics, online sales were also active during the  Lockdown and the growth was 25%.

Sales of the Phubber app, where people can sell clothing and other fashion items, also increased during the pandemic.

Giorgi Chugoshvili, the co-founder of the online store Phubber, said on Business Morning program that the factor of closed stores had a significant impact on online sales.

"It was a hard time in the beginning. Sales fell drastically in the second half of March as people did not decide whether to spend money on clothing, but in April and May we saw a significant increase in sales.

This was an increase of about 60% and 45%. In the case of Phubber, we can say that we have seen stable growth, but here a few factors were noteworthy. During the pandemic, all other shops were closed. At such times Phubber was an alternative. ", - said Giorgi Chugoshvili.
