RMG Awards Scholarships to 20 Students Under 2025 Scholar Program
The RMG 2025 Scholars were announced at a ceremony held at the company’s Tbilisi office.
This year, alongside students from the Georgian Technical University (GTU), students from the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences at Tbilisi State University (TSU) also participated in the scholarship competition—thanks to a memorandum of cooperation signed between RMG and TSU.
Twenty selected students were awarded commemorative certificates by RMG General Director Joni Shubitidze and Deputy General Director Malkhaz Natsvlishvili, joined by representatives from GTU’s Faculty of Mining and Geology.
Approximately 150 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students from GTU (Faculties of Mining and Geology, Energy, Chemical Technologies and Metallurgy, Informatics and Management Systems) and TSU took part in the competition. The 20 winners were selected through a two-stage interview process and will receive financial support from RMG for one year.
The RMG scholarship is awarded annually to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to learning, motivation, and academic excellence. The program aims to identify and support emerging talent in the engineering field and facilitate their professional development.
Established in 2018 for GTU students, the scholarship program reflects RMG’s commitment to quality education, aligning with Goal 4 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which promotes inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.
