Restoration of Viticulture Research Institute in Telavi Postponed
The restoration process of the Viticulture Research Institute in Telavi is temporarily suspended due to a pandemic. As a representative of the company, which implements this project, Giorgi Khitarishvili stated, the Italian vineyard is already planned on the territory of 32 hectares.
According to him, the project is being implemented on the site of former Viticulture and Fruit Research Institute in Telavi. Apart from this, they will restore 40 hectares of vineyard, and laboratories owned by the institute will also be renewed.
The project also envisages 150-room hotel and museum. They plan to build a wine factory in the future.
The representative of the company "Vivi" can not name the date when the project will be completed and when the complex will receive its first visitor.
