Restaurant Owners Plan to Arbitrarily Resume Operation on February 6 Despite Restrictions

Over 200 restaurants in Georgia plan to arbitrarily resume operation on February 6, despite the restrictions.

According to the Association of Restaurant Owners, the corresponding decision has been already taken. “Dear friends, we have decided today that restaurants will resume operation on Saturday», the association representatives noted.

As reported, on February 1 food outlets started working only in Adjara, while in other regions, food facilities, restaurants, including hotels provide only delivery services. We remind you that on January 30, around 200 restaurants ceased operation for 24 hours. Namely, the restaurants ceased delivery and online services. Meanwhile, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia noted that the Government will open the economy in stages after the infecting indicators fall below 4%.
