Renewed Film Demonstration Zone At Mziuri Social Café
On May 3 a rehabilitated free film demonstration space opened at the social café of Mziuri. The film demonstration season will last through October and visitors will be able to watch favorite films in Georgian language every Friday at 20 o’clock.
The social café of Mziuri has been fully adapted to persons with disabilities. The café arranges more than 150 events a year. Film demonstrations will be held by Silknet. As part of Social Responsibility Project, Silknet has arranged a mobile phone charging stand, Wi-Fi and film zones. Silknet will promote the Mziuri film demonstration through communication direction too.
Ana Goguadze, author of New Mziuri project: “From the very inception Mziuri café arranges free film demonstrations. This is one of the most successful projects of ours. This is not only a film demonstration. We also hold discussions. This project is implemented by volunteers and we work to satisfy the interest of all kinds of spectators. We try to include children component too.
Jointly with Silknet we are meeting the 2019 season with the rehabilitated yard. Mziuri is a social café. We did not have resources for arranging film demonstration space in a new format. Silknet has helped us replace the furniture and this company provides support in terms of communication issues.
The new environment is more comfortable for our visitors. We have chosen minimalistic concept for designing our tables. We will have very noisy season.
We started the season with Bohemian Rhapsody. We will also hold a children film demonstrate once a month”, Ana Goguadze said.
Anuka Tsereteli, Silknet project manager: ”For many years Silknet cooperates and supports New Mziuri social project. We have held a lot of events jointly with Mziuri social café. This year our partnership will be developed in interesting direction – Silk Film at Mziuri. As part of our partnership Silknet has developed a very interesting and minimalistic concept for the café visitors. Thus, we invite film lovers to attend film demonstration and discussions every Friday at 20 o’clock. A very interesting season is ahead”.
