Remote Learning to Extend until October 4

Educational institutions will be closed and remote learning will be undertaken until October 4th.

According to Mikheil Chkhenkeli, schools will not be able to start physical classes from September 15th, which results in the online learning process until October 4th.

"Among several variants in Georgia, Delta variant is 90% spread. Therefore, the health of our children is a top priority and on the recommendation of the NCDC, Coordinating Council decided to continue the learning process remotely.

Also, every university has its own academic schedule and therefore everyone starts studying according to this schedule, just remotely until October 4th. Exceptions will be the practical work of medical students if students and professors are vaccinated twice," - said the Minister.
