Radisson RED Debuts in Eastern Europe: A Glimpse of Tbilisi's Historic Charm

Radisson Hotel Group proudly unveils its first Radisson RED hotel in Eastern Europe, nestled in Tbilisi's historical heart. Situated on Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue, the hotel finds its home in a century-old former post office building.

Radisson RED Tbilisi seamlessly fuses culture, history, and contemporary design. Notably, the venue positions itself as a gastronomic delight. At the Posta Restaurant & Bar, guests can savor an eclectic blend of Georgian, Asian, and international cuisines, with the restaurant also doubling as a vibrant social hotspot.

Georgia is celebrated for its ancient architectural wonders, culinary delights, artistic endeavors, and its breathtaking location where the mighty Caucasus Mountains greet the Black Sea. Tbilisi, its capital, paints a vivid picture of a storied past. Its architectural mosaic includes Eastern Orthodox churches, lavish edifices, Soviet-era structures, and the charming, cobbled streets of the Old Town. Landmarks such as the Peace Bridge, Tbilisi Trinity Cathedral, and the rejuvenated 4th-century Narikala castle offer panoramic city views. Museums and theaters like the National Museum of Georgia, National Gallery, Lado Gudiashvili Exhibition Hall, and Rustaveli Theater light up the city, both during the day and under the evening's luminous embrace.

Radisson RED Tbilisi's prime location is steeped in history. The iconic post office building, dating back to the 1920s, showcases a stunning facade, ornate iron balconies, and sleek black crystal-inspired windows. Perfectly situated near pivotal cultural landmarks, the hotel serves as an ideal launchpad for cultural immersion. The hotel extends a unique invitation to guests to delve into Tbilisi’s rich tapestry of history, art, and gastronomy, both within its walls and in the surrounding locales.

Spanning four floors, the hotel boasts 111 rooms, ranging from cozy standards to luxurious suites. Each room exudes the signature Radisson RED aesthetic – a modern flair enriched with local nuances. Features include artwork by local talents capturing the essence of historical Tbilisi, Tbilisi-inspired balconies, and distinctive Radisson RED elements like the iconic red telephones.

The hotel also houses three state-of-the-art meeting rooms with a collective capacity of 70 guests. The expansive yard, meanwhile, can host up to 500 attendees.
