Oktopus Fitness Club Plans to Add Branches in 2023
The director of "Oktopus Fitness Club" Giorgi Asatiani evaluates the year 2022 with "Business Partner" and states that, unlike the past 2 years, sales this year have increased by about 30% compared to the figure of 2019.
As Asatiani explains, the increase in demand is related to the end of the Covid pandemic and the interest in a healthy lifestyle among the population.
"The increased number includes migrants (50%), including Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians. About 18% come from women from other countries who live in Georgia. The rest of the share is the local population," Asatiani said.
As the director of "Oktopus Fitness Club" explains, during the pandemic, the company had a pause in paying bank and various obligations, however, now a certain part of the income serves to pay off these obligations.
According to Asatiani, due to the increase in operating expenses in the fitness club this year, the prices of services have increased by about 15%.
In addition, the company plans to implement investment projects in 2023-2024, however, at this stage, the details are not disclosed. Asatiani states that one of the investment directions is the addition of branches.
Fitness club "Oktopus" was opened in the summer of 2016. Today it is represented by 3 branches. "Oktopus" is equipped with the highest quality Lifefitness and Technogym simulators.
The club is distinguished by its avant-garde interior, which combines maximum coziness and comfort and is adapted to all types of customers.
