New Hotel Opens in Kazbegi

Vakhtang and Shalva Kirikashvili decided to build a new hotel in the region of Kazbegi with the support of TBC.

According to them, despite the pandemic, the building processes were not suspended. They decided to expand an existing guest house and started the construction of a new hotel. 

"We plan to open a hotel in October, to be prepared for the winter season. We focus mainly on foreign tourists. We will be able to receive approximately 30 guests, to whom we will offer a full service, including on-demand equestrian or motor tours in Kazbegi.", noted the founder of the hotel, Shalva Kirikashvili, who runs a hotel business in Stepantsminda with his father for 15 years.

The hotel will have its own restaurant and terrace, where 10 people will be permanently employed. Seasonally, their number will be increased.

It is also worth mentioning, that the hotel is located in one of the oldest settlements of Stepantsminda. In the yard of the hotel, visitors will be able to see the cultural heritage monument in Kazbegi - the Chopikashvili family fortress.
