National Food Agency Itensified Control of Food Facilities on Highways

The National Food Agency is intensifying its control in the public catering facilities on the highway, where the number of customers increases especially during the tourist season.

According to the National Food Agency, state control was carried out in 46 public catering establishments on the highway in Imereti region. Eleven of them were found to have a critical irrelevance with the business operator, which led to their suspension. 22 objects were fined for various violations.

In addition to complying with food safety requirements and inspecting the sanitary-hygienic condition of the facility, the representatives of the National Food Agency will also make recommendations on preventive measures related to Coronavirus.
