Natia Turnava: We don't Plan Systemic Restriction of Business

"We are not planning to systematically restrict business, to repeat Lockdown, even though the epidemiological situation is not simple," the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development said at a briefing at the Government Chancellery today.

According to Natia Turnava, the government acts only through local restrictions if necessary, so that the business can return to its activities quickly.

"Our choice is only local, temporary restrictions on compliance with protocols where it is unavoidable, and then this or that organization is still involved in the activities. So we have no systemic, sectoral, big restrictions planned," said the Minister of Economy.

However, according to her, there are already the first examples of the effectiveness of this practice in the business sector, when the organization became infected, but after a certain period, following the correct protocols and following all the recommendations, this or that organization reopened.

"Adjara Textile" is an example of this, and by the way, we should be thankful to such companies that we have almost 9% growth in exports in September - the textile and garment industry is one of the leaders in this direction. There were cases of infection in Adjara Textile, but Kobuleti and Batumi enterprises will start to operate,''-said the minister.
