Mtevino Exports Wine to China

Negotiations between Mtevino and the Chinese party started during the pandemic and a 2 million dollar agreement was formed. The Georgian wine company Mtevino will export 7 varieties of wine to China by the end of 2020 with approximately 500,000 bottles.

The wine of Mtevino, which is made by high-quality ingredients, appeared on market several months ago. Despite the short operating time, the company already started negotiations on exporting its products with countries besides China.

Currently, a five-year contract has been signed, according to which, 400,000 to 500,000 bottles should be taken out before the new year, and at the beginning of 2021, parties agreed to increase the number of bottles.

"Interest from China is high, especially in red wines. Our customers will taste Saperavi, Mukuzani, Khashmi Saperavi aged in pitchers, semi-sweet wines, Kindzmarauli, Alazani Valley, Rkatsiteli. It is also worth mentioning, that our wine will be on the shelves of different price categories. We have both high-priced and low-priced wine, which we believe will compete with everyone in its price segment.", noted Suliko Nemsadze, brand ambassador of the company.

"We hold negotiations with the U.S and we are already in the contract phase, we will soon export our wine to the U.S. 5 varieties of wine will be exported. As soon as the matter of pandemic will be eliminated and Horeca becomes more active, the number of orders will be increased. We already have other suggestions and now we start to work actively in this field", declared Suliko Nemsadze.
