Minister of Health Approved Updated Recommendations for Open-Air Restaurants

The Minister of Health approved the updated recommendations for public catering establishments.

In particular, the change will apply to open-air restaurants, as indicated in the approved recommendations, if a maximum of 6 people could be accommodated at one table in public catering establishments with open space (terrace/ open-air restaurant), now this number has increased to 12.

As for other newly approved recommendations for open-air restaurants, it looks like this:

  • Keep a safe distance of not less than 2 meters between customer tables; Between the backs of the chairs - a distance of not less than 1 meter;
  • If a safe distance of 2 meters cannot be maintained, a temporary protective barrier may be used;
  • Use the individual hosting method when hosting;
  • In the beverage service area (bar), to avoid direct contact of customers with bartenders, provide beverage service individually, with table service;
  • Ensure a safe distance between tables outside the premises and the pedestrian area.
