Mikheil Svimonishvili: Nabeghlavi Returned to the Stores in Kyiv and Lviv
According to Mikheil Svimonishvili, managing partner and director of Margebeli Holding, Nabeghlavi has returned to the stores in Kyiv and Lviv.
Mikheil Svimonishvili noted that the first export market for the holding was Ukraine before the war and they are happy to restore even small volumes of exports in this direction.
"In Georgia, today almost all companies are facing problems in the current situation. Margebeli Holding's first export market was Ukraine, but we have always been working on diversification. At the same time, we look at the viability of the company in a multi-year context. Structurally the company is properly assembled and ready to withstand this or that strong shock. Of course, it is difficult and we have losses in exports, but whether we sell 5 million bottles more or less, we have a moral shock regarding what is happening in Ukraine. Consequently, we do not look at our losses so directly.
I was surprised when we received the first orders from Ukraine a week ago, it was one of the great joys for me, not because of the quantity, but because of the precedent, because our product (Nabeghlavi) returned to the shops in Kyiv and Lviv, "- said Mikheil Svimonishvili ar Forbes Week.
At present, the production of Margebeli Holding combines the mineral and fresh waters of Nabeghlavi and Bakhmaro with Rauch juices, products of the Marneuli food factory, although the holding also manages agriculture and distribution businesses.
