Merqani Plans to Export Lamps to England

Merqani offers its customers ecologically clean, handmade, wooden decorative lamps, which are created with the original design.

The user is able to engrave symbols or drawing on the lamp. As a founder of the brand, Matsi Bukhrashvili noted with BusinessPartner, products are distinguished by safety and aesthetic beauty.

"During the pandemic, I started thinking about lamps and created the first model. I make lamps with local materials in my studio, where three people are employed.

The company is working on online sales, and in the future, we plan to arrange a showroom or open a store. Due to the current situation, it is pretty hard to sell the items. There is a demand in the market, but a limited number of items are in sale.", stated Matsi Bukhrashvili.

The production of Merqani is targeted at the average price segment. As a representative of the brand says, the production has not yet gone abroad, but negotiations are underway to import products to England.

"We started cooperation with two companies, online markets. Purchasing our production will be available in Tbilisi Pavillion and the branch of Domino.

Generally, I plan a collaboration with several brands but not at this point.", said the founder of Merqani.
