Mcdonald's Invested ₾6.7 Million in the Opening of a New Restaurant

The company "McDonald's Georgia" is expanding, the company opened a new restaurant near "Isani Mall". The company invested 6.7 million GEL in the project and employed 60 people.

In the new restaurant, a McCafe was launched, which offers coffee and desserts to customers.

This time, another new restaurant was added to "McDonald's Georgia" in Tbilisi, which was solemnly opened and gave an unforgettable evening to hundreds of loyal customers. The opening event featured various fun and entertainment activities for children, including face painting, a drama show and a concert by the band Newton. The final chord of the event was the festive fireworks, which made the evening even more impressive and outstanding.

In addition to the restaurant located at "Isani Mall", this year McDonalds opened an eco-friendly restaurant on the Kakheti highway in Tbilisi, the roof of which is equipped with panels of a solar microelectric plant, and customers have the opportunity to use electric car chargers in the parking lot. In addition, only 30% of the restaurant's green concept and territory includes the restaurant space, and the largest part - 70% is fully devoted to the recreation area, which ultimately contributes to the preservation of the appearance of the city and the development of green areas.

McDonald's invested a total of 18 million GEL in two new restaurants opened in Tbilisi and employed more than 100 people. In the near future, "McDonald's Georgia" plans to open several new restaurants across the country and make large investments.

In total, since 1999, "McDonald's Georgia" has invested 125 million GEL in various directions, and the contribution to the country's budget reaches 150 million GEL. Out of this, only in the last two years - 2021 and 2022, the contribution to the budget is more than 33 million GEL.

The official opening event of the restaurant was attended by Temur Chkhonia, the president of McDonald's Georgia, Tengiz Kapanadze, the director of McDonald's Georgia, Richard Rekina, acting ambassador of France to Georgia, and other high-ranking guests.
