McDonald’s Georgia to Build Barmcakes Plant
McDonald’s barmcakes plant will be constructed in Georgia in summer 2019, Temur Chkonia, Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia founder told BusinessPressNews.
The new plant will be constructed nearby Lilo. Investment value of the project is 5-6 million USD.
Products will be supplied to both domestic and foreign markets, Temur Chkonia noted.
“The plant will be constructed on the territory of Lilo and the production capacity will be 60 million barmcakes.
This project is the result of the success that MacDonald’s Georgia made in 2018 and obtained an award as the best restaurants network in Europe, among 15 000 McDonald’s networks worldwide, based on the long list of criteria.
Therefore, it is the McDonald’s policy to set new perspectives for hardworking people and they have entitled us to build a new barmcakes plant”, Temur Chkonia said.
As to the project, consulting and designing works will be performed by Austrian specialists, Chkonia noted.
“We will start construction works in a month. Austrian specialists will provide consulting and designing job. The works will end in 2020. This plant will also create exports potential and we will supply products to Azerbaijan and Armenia”, Temur Chkonia said.
