Linda Whetstone Tbilisi Policy Network Presentation
The Linda Whetstone Tbilisi Policy Network, a team of 50 students and professors, recently held a presentation of their policy documents at the University of Georgia.
Over the past three months, the group has been actively working on policy documents and recommendations focused on various important topics, including freedom of speech, property rights, monetary and fiscal policy, gender equality, and foreign policy. These policy documents were developed through extensive trainings and collaborations with field experts.
The presentation of the five policy documents was evaluated by a jury made up of professors and politicians from opposition parties, who ultimately selected the three best policy documents and awarded them with cash prizes.
Members of the Franklin Club and the Linda Whetstone Tbilisi Policy Network are now eager to share their policy documents with a wider audience and aim to bring about positive change by introducing these policies to the Parliament of Georgia.
In conclusion, the Linda Whetstone Tbilisi Policy Network's project is a significant step towards creating a better future for the people of Georgia. The dedication and hard work of the team, along with their commitment to making a positive impact, is an inspiration to us all.
This important project is made possible through the partnership with the University of Georgia and the financial support of Atlas Network.
