Levan Moseshvili Appointed as New Director General of Georgian Airports Association
Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili, has officially introduced Levan Moseshvili as the new Director General of the Georgian Airports Association.
The announcement was made during a meeting with the association’s employees, where Kvrivishvili emphasized Moseshvili’s extensive experience in the civil aviation sector and his ability to contribute to Georgia’s ambition of becoming a key regional aviation hub.
“Levan Moseshvili is a seasoned aviation professional, and his appointment is a crucial step toward the successful implementation of the government’s large-scale infrastructure projects and aviation reforms,” stated Deputy Minister Kvrivishvili. “His knowledge and expertise will significantly strengthen the Georgian Airports Association and the entire civil aviation sector.”
Moseshvili brings over two decades of practical experience to the role. He served for 12 years as the Head of the Aerodromes and Airports Department at the Civil Aviation Agency and has held key positions within the United Transport Administration of Georgia, Tbilisi International Airport, and TAV Georgia.
The Deputy Minister also expressed gratitude to outgoing Director General Irakli Karkashadze for his dedicated service, noting that he will continue contributing to the aviation sector in a new capacity.
