Kohi.ge Launches a New Workshop and Prepares for Export

Kohi.ge will lauch a new workshop in February. The enterprise is currently undergoing a technical re-equipment process.

As the director of kohi.ge Levan Pirtskhalava told bm.ge, the company will be ready for export by spring 2022.

"Technical re-equipment of the workshop is underway at the moment and we will offer improved products to our customers from February. The Eastern European market is a priority for us, although the increase in exports is directly related to the increase in the efficiency of the production process and management.

From 2022, we will achieve that the houses built by the company are suitable not only for Georgian, but also for the standards of European markets. Unfortunately, there is no official standard in Georgia to assess the durability and quality of wooden house construction, so our company is developing its own standard, which will be developed according to the standards of the most successful Canadian wooden house construction in the world," said the director of Kohi.ge.

As for the prices, at this stage the cost of 1 square meter of finished wooden house starts from 1 000 GEL. The final price depends on the materials used and the project specification.
