Kaspi Canning Factory Delays Company's Plans until 2022
Kaspi Canning Factory postponed the production of non-alcoholic beverages and meat cans until 2022.
According to one of the directors of the company, Otar Merebashvili, the reason for delaying is the pandemic, which halved the sales of the company.
Initially, the company planned to bottle drinks of cherries, pomegranates, and citrus fruits. As for the meat can, they thought of producing tenderized meat, which would appear in markets in tin jars.
Kaspi Canning Factory manufacturers up to 40 products, including, jams, pickles, etc. 50% of the produced products are exported. The company imports raw materials from both locals and the region of Shida Kartli.
