Internet traffic in Georgia is growing at a record pace.

Mobile Internet traffic in the country in January-February was 21.3 thousand terabytes. Among them, consumption in January reached 11 thousand terabytes, which is an annual increase of 92%, in February the figure increased by 105% annually and reached 10.3 thousand terabytes.

It should be noted that the consumption of mobile internet by each subscriber has also increased and averaged 4 GB in February.

The Communications Commission also estimated that the amount of Internet traffic consumed by 4G technology is increasing sharply, with an increase of 125% in February to 82% of total Internet traffic.

It is noteworthy that revenues in the mobile services market are also growing. In January, the companies received 42.5 million GEL, and in February - 39 million.

The companies have not yet announced the results for March.
