Innovations in Wheat Farming: Insights from Bakar Mumladze
Modern agriculturist Bakar Mumladze has been cultivating wheat in Marneuli for the past five years, and with great success. His yield is often swiftly purchased post-harvest. Beyond the quality, Bakar is also satisfied with the plentiful output. "Five years ago, a yield of 5 tons was deemed significant for us. Now, we're averaging 8 tons per hectare," he remarks.
Mumladze attributes much of this progress to advanced agricultural equipment. Such tools allow him to cultivate the land efficiently and adhere to crucial agricultural timelines—ensuring timely sowing and harvesting. The caliber of the wheat seeds, fertilizers, and plant protection products also play a pivotal role in his operations. At the heart of it all, Bakar is driven by an unwavering commitment to innovation.
"In my view, a contemporary farmer should be eager to embrace new technologies and experiment with different crop varieties. We consistently aim to integrate novel approaches, which in turn enhances both our yield and wheat quality," he shares.
